Does a drone inspection replace hands on or NDE inspection?
No. It documents visible external conditions and shows where closer examination is needed. Wall thickness, corrosion under insulation, internal condition, and fitness for service still require hands on, NDE, or engineering evaluation.
Can you inspect a specific tank, vessel, or piping circuit?
Yes. Share the equipment tags and areas of interest. Coverage depends on site permits, airspace, weather, obstructions, and safe standoff distances, which we confirm with your team before the flight.
Who reviews the images?
An API 510, 570, and 653 certified inspector reviews every image and records observations of visible conditions within the agreed scope. Engineering and fitness for service determinations remain with your engineering team.
What information is needed for a quote?
Share the site location, the equipment list or tags, areas of interest, preferred dates, and any access, permit, or operating requirements.
Can you fly inside operating plants?
Yes, when the site allows it. We coordinate with your safety team on permits, the job safety analysis, gas testing where required, and airspace approval before any flight.
Do you offer thermal inspections?
Not currently. We use high resolution visual and zoom imagery to document visible external conditions. It does not detect temperature anomalies or replace thermal, ultrasonic, or radiographic testing.
